How to E-File Your Personal Tax Extension

If you cannot file your Federal individual income tax return by the April 15 deadline, you can apply for an automatic 6-month extension of time to file. First, Provide Your Information

The IRS requires that you provide certain personal information in order to file a tax extension — including your name, address, and Social Security Number (as well as your spouse’s, if applicable).
